From Deena:

This last decade has cracked Deena open to reveal her artistic edges, it sends her beyond her comfort zone to explore new ways of seeing the everyday things in life.  Her mother was a professional artist and lifetime educator, and that influence cultivated an inherent sense of observation of the nuances in life, relationships, and hierarchies that both hold and hinder.  As a professional artist and designer, Deena’s work demonstrates those nuances by delineating the lines of comfort over discomfort, through saturation of colors, blurred and layered lines with a monster dose of geometric design.
